No, I love YOU CVS
I have always said that if CVS sold clothes and it was socially acceptable, I would do all of my shopping there.
Let’s face it, CVS is great. But what’s even better is the website i heart cvs. This site allows you to see the CVS weekly circular’s weeks before they are distributed. This way, you can choose the best time to buy your fav. products on sale.
Your welcome!
Who? What? Wear?
Many people ask me where I find such great deals online, so i figured I would share with you (well, not really you..since I dont think anyone reads this) just a few of my favorite online sites for cheap-chic shopping. Enjoy!
Best Site for shoes: 6pm.com- This fairly new Zappo’s sister site is an online source for discount shoes, apparel and accessories. Almost every brand you can think of is at your fingertips (think The North Face to Carolina Herrera). Unlike Zappos, a flat shipping fee of $6.95 is in effect-though a small trade off for great deals.
Best site for glasses/sunglasses:
FramesDirect.com- FramesDirect is the place to find the best deals on over 116,000 different frames from every label imaginable. Have a prescription? Not to worry, just fax your prescription over or give one of their friendly customer service reps your doc’s number and they will verify your Rx. Sceptical about buying your frames and lenses online? I can vogue for it- I went to a local LensCrafters and fell in love with a pair of Dolce & Gabbana frames (brand whore, I know I know). I wrote down the style number, faxed over my prescription and in 7 days they were delivered to my door. Total cost= $163.00 (that didn’t even cover the frames at LensCrafters) Have contacts? Get em’ here too!
Best site for casual Jeans&T’s: Ae.com- The majority of American Eagle’s tops and jeans are under $50. With constant coupons and sales, you can’t go wrong.
Best site for professional attire: NY&Co- The revived former Lerner’s store has now become a go-to place for workwear on a budget. Between signing up for discount coupons via email, and the coupons that you receive every time you shop there, you never have to worry about paying full price on their already fair prices.
Best site for snaggin deals: RetailMeNot:![]()
This site has become my bible. Saw an outfit online but don’t want to pay full price? Just enter the store’s name and you can view online discount codes and printable coupons. Full price is for suckas. *BONUS* enter your zip code and find local coupons
You went over on your cellphone minutes, chatty Cathy. Now What?
If your like me (meaning you can’t shut the hell up) then you have most likely experienced going over your allotted minutes on a particular month.
I looked online at my current cellphone usage yesterday and discovered that for the twenty extra minutes I used I was charged over $15! Realizing that I still had a week left to go before my new monthly minutes start, I said what I usually say …”How about, NO”
Well, I decided to give a call to my provider and explain that this month has just been so crazy…blah blah blah, unexpected emergencies…yadda yadda yadda. Viola! I was told that for a measly $5 they would give me 100 extra minutes to hold me over til next week! And the minutes that I already went over would be taken out. Boooyaaa!
The cellphone rep informed me that they have something called Overage Relief Minutes. They charge a small fee for 100, 200, 500, even 1000 extra minutes for the month. Of course, they will never tell you about it. They hope you will just suck it up and pay for all of your overage.
All you gotta do is try kids!
